We are pleased to announce the release of the book "Bayard Paris, a contemporary Parisian architecture". A project in collaboration with Nexity and LaSalle Investment Management published by Ante Prima, AAM.
This book is dedicated to an iconic Parisian complex, which had been occupied since 1936 in Rue Bayard by the private radio station RTL. Located in the heart of an elegant district surrounded by haute couture designer houses and the media, it opens onto Place François-I°r, one of the most elegant squares in Paris, opposite "Chez Savy", a favoured haunt of journalists, where the decor has
been preserved intact since 1925. In 1972, the heterogeneous facades of the three different buildings were unified with an Op-Art work by Victor Vasarely and his son Yvaral. In 2017, RTL left Rue Bayard, and in 2022 a new chapter in the building history is written, one that combines a restructuring with a new timber frame construction. This new complex of virtuous office spaces articulates a series of courtyards, tiered levels, terraces and rooftop. The metal cladding with bronze reflections of the new facade echoes the restored historic stone facade. Both underscore the luxury codes prevalent in the district and write a new page in its history.
