This year, our agency traveled to Korea for the French Architecture Days, accompanied by members of AFEX.

The program was rich and varied, including a France-Korea architecture seminar at Hongik University, a tour of Seoul and its iconic buildings, exchange workshops with Korean public officials, and a networking cocktail at the French Embassy in the Republic of Korea.

Numerous French architectural issues were discussed during the seminars, particularly current and future trends concerning new technologies, the rehabilitation and transformation of historic buildings, and sustainable architectural practices.

The delegation also had the opportunity to meet with Hyundai Development Company (현대산업개발) and POSCO Engineering & Construction to discuss French trends in sustainability and ESG standards, especially in the hotel and public project sectors.

This was a wonderful opportunity to highlight French architectural expertise internationally while exploring trends and challenges in Korean architecture.
