Located in the heart of the Central Business District, a few steps from the Arc de Triomphe, the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and near Parc Monceau, 17 Avenue Hoche enjoys beautiful visibility. Axel Schoenert Architects is restructuring this building to make it a contemporary and functional tertiary space that allows it to be part of a resilient and innovative city, capable of renewing itself by reinventing itself.
The complete replacement of its technical installations lies in the way this building is being redesigned by tackling the obsolescence of an architecture that offers low-quality spaces in response to the new expectations of companies.
The project's new façade, very transparent and animated, thanks to its windows in the form of incoming and outgoing boxes and mirror polish, allows the reflection of light and sky while bringing a new face to Avenue Hoche.
This intervention also combines the densification and qualitative improvement of workspaces. The available surfaces are maximized while enhancing their organization and circulation to offer great flexibility and divisibility. The volumes are grouped and rationalized around a garden in the heart of the islet.
The monumental entrance, visible from the avenue, offers a view through to the garden, completely redesigned to enhance the workspaces with a real green lung. Many green terraces, on different levels, allow users to go out and offer them a place of relaxation and comfort while enjoying a magnificent view over all of Paris.
