Located in the 8th district of Paris, in the heart of the QCA and perpendicular to Avenue Montaigne, Axel Schoenert Architects, in partnership with NEXITY, will restructure the former RTL building, previously identifiable by the façade of the artist Vasarely.
The project is based on the major restructuring of the post-Haussmann buildings on Bayard Street and the so-called "comedy" building, on Antin's dead end, and the demolition, for the most part, of the 1970s building, for the construction of a building with a "low-carbon" wooden structure on R+7. The project plans to achieve 5 environmental certifications and labels: BREEAM / WELL / WIRED SCORE / HQE / BBCA (Bas-carbone) / BBC / Effinergie E+ C- .
On the street, a new perforated brass facade will affirm real modernity and identity of the building complex while marking the link with the historic facade.
On the courtyard, 2 vegetated patios, one of which is in the ground, have been created to bring light to the new ground floor spaces. The successive withdrawals from the impasse d'Antin to the building on the rue Bayard side are decorated with various green and accessible terraces, including a rooftop on the top level.
