Invesco Real Estate has entrusted Axel Schoenert architectes with the complete restructuring, compliance and accessibility for disabled people of the former Goldman Sachs headquarters, located at 1 rue Georges Berger in the 17th arrondissement.
Ideally located opposite the Parc Monceau, in a Haussmannian building, the building offers a modular floor area of 4,130m² and is part of the QCA (Central Business District of Paris). In this historically rich urban context, the challenge was to give a real identity to an old building, while integrating modernity and comfort of use.
The three levels of the office floors are decompartmentalized to create large modular spaces. To guarantee the comfort and well-being of users, false ceilings were created, windows were replaced and acoustic solutions were installed.
On the first floor, the slab has been completely levelled to allow access for disabled people.
The new outdoor garden, on the rue de Thann side, unfolds along a pathway of imitation wood tiles, through a planted area. Embellished with low and aromatic plantations, it is the ideal place to relax.
The building benefits from remarkable environmental certifications: HQE Exceptional, BREEAM Excellent and BBC.
