Axel Schoenert Architects was commissioned to carry out the interior design project for the Meininger hotel brand.
The challenges were related to the creation of interior design spaces that best express the brand's unique hybrid concept: service and comfort of an international hotel and the development of a youth hostel. The specific design for this hotel is inspired by its geographical location, so the theme is Paris Bohème, an eclectic style with a mix of brightly coloured materials. This new six-storey building is located in the 12th district of Paris and offers a total of 946 beds for 249 rooms on 8,000 m².
