The SHIFT 54 LONDRES has been completely redesigned and renovated to make it modern, innovative and functional, while respecting its urban environment and its history.
Axel Schoenert architectes proposed for each of the three buildings a different approach, according to their respective typology: a building of 1930, a mansion of 1840 and a former stable of the nineteenth century. This resulted in the completion of a new building, the renovation and heavy restructuring of two historic buildings. The main challenge has been to harmonize the spaces that were previously fragmented by a succession of different architectural and historical sequences.
Through the renovations, the building has first of all enjoyed a new lease of life, thanks to the heavy restructuring, the renovation and the fit out. In addition, the new realization has made it possible to accommodate more users.
The SHIFT 54 LONDRES has a quadruple certification combining user comfort, environmental respect, reduced energy consumption and fees for the current tenants.
Redesigned and renovated to make it modern, innovative and functional, Axel Schoenert Architectes has taken up the challenge while respecting its urban environment and its history.
