Student residence and young workers

The agency Axel Schoenert architectes has been commissioned for the restructuring and new construction of the student and young professionals' residence named Canvas, located in Puteaux.

The 1980s building, situated in a rapidly changing environment, underwent an ambitious transformation. The aim was to create a residence that meets current standards and offers its residents high-quality private and communal spaces. These include a large lobby for reception, several shared workrooms, a gym, game and relaxation rooms, a cinema and music room, a dining area, as well as accessible green outdoor spaces on the ground and garden levels, and private outdoor areas.

Located less than 300 meters from La Défense, the property is also very well connected. It sits at the boundary between the La Défense district and the urban fabric of Puteaux, effectively bridging these two lifestyles through its architecture and program.
